The Secret Pal 11 swap that I'm in right now is running a series of contests - here is my submission for the current one!
1. What is the one knitting accessory you could not live without? My little Susan Bates Knit-Check - it's a needle sizer, stitch gauge checker, and ruler, all in one. I am constantly pulling it out of my knitting bag.
2. If you're heading on vacation, do you take knitting with you? If so, how much and what type of project? Definitely! Usually one mindless thing, and one more complicated project. And some extra yarn. And a book for inspiration. And a credit card for stopping at yarn stores for supplies. And, and, and...
3. Where have you traveled to that you'd consider your favorite spot? Vancouver Island - it's the combination of the lush woods, the amazing ocean, the majestic mountains, all at once.
4. What is your favorite knitting book at the moment? Do you own it? I've been really taken with Elizabeth Zimmerman lately, and I've been longing to get my hands on The Opinionated Knitter, which I don't own, yet.

5. Do you listen to podcasts? Which is your favorite(s)? Yes, almost every day! I have lots of favourites, though, it's tricky to try and narrow it down!
6. If you could only knit with 1 color for the rest of your life, what color would that be? Turquoise, in all it's wonderful and amazing shades. (Shades don't count, right? It's all still turquoise, right?)
7. If you were far into a project and then noticed a mistake near the beginning what would you do? Agonize, throw it across the room, swear and yell and cry a bit! Then probably rip it out, I couldn't live with it!
8. Where is the most unusual spot you've ever knit? In the truck, at a red light. (I know, I know, but the sock was just sitting there on the seat next to me, looking at me! What was I supposed to do?)
hahaha...sounds like you did the right thing...after all, it was *looking* at you! hee.
