Thanks to a really super ultrasound technician, we are proud to report.... It's a Boy!
We're all pretty excited, although there was a groan from Katie, who was hoping for more girl power. Brian assured me that it's a boy because he prayed and asked God for a brother - how can you argue with that? I was just relieved (and I'll admit, a little disappointed, too) to hear that there is just one very busy baby in there. The dreaded T word came up more than once with my midwife, and although it would be a lot of fun, the amount of work involved is just frightening.
Now, I'm frantically trying to finish up the tea cozy so that I can start on a "boy knit". I have a huge bag of stash yarn sitting in my living room right now, waiting for Stuart to come home and give his opinions. Oh, and I should really finish up poor Brian's car sweater. I'm pretty sure when I left off I had only the neck and seaming to do, so I guess it shouldn't take too long!
Congratulations! I'm just glad to hear it's not a puppy!!! Boys are awesome!

Oooh! Charity! I'm so happy! This is wonderful news and bless Brian's heart... seriously.
I think maybe I somehow 'knew' this... that you were carrying a boy... seriously... the yarn I had chosen special? I was definitely thinking baby boy... how 'bout that.

Yahoo - a boy!
I've had 3 of those and they are pretty cool, but I must admit, I am thrilled to have my 1 girl!
