Very cute!

Ruth

What a fabulous sweater - what fun!

Sue

What a cute sweater. I too need to knit items longer for my daughter too, as being taller for her age things seem to look shorter (and a plus she can wear them for longer).

Brian is quite handsome AND dashing in his new sweater.. which btw is fabulous! You did a wonderful knit of it and those colours look so good on him! Happy beautiful Brian... :^)

Maria

Cute sweater and even cuter kid! What a great mom!

Jennifer

What an adorable sweater, and a cute little boy!

Dorothy

Glad to see you are back and knitting like mad again. Being sick sucks especially when it lasts so long.

Congratulations on a little boy in the oven! That's awesome.

Very cute sweater on a cute little guy.

Sarah

Such a cute sweater and Brian looks so happy to be wearing it - that must be such a great reward.

Robyn

That is soooo cute! Any chance I could get a copy of the pattern? I'd love to make one for Sean. I don't know where I could get my hands on that magazine. Can you email me to discuss further? :)

Jo

Miss Scarlett

By the look on his face, he loves his sweater. It's awfully cute.

I used to think you had to have the exact yarn for the pattern too. Funny isn't it, to look back on things like that.

Kristeen

Great job on the sweater. Looks like you made someone really really happy!!

Sue

Brian looks very happy to finally have his jumper, I bet he'll wear it to death. What better thanks for knitting to see someone so happy with the FO.

Laura

Wow! It looks great! (My 6-yr-old son saw the picture of your son, wanted to know who it was, then asked, "Are you going to knit me one of those?")

A good friend of mine - who taught me to knit - is the mother of 6 sons, and she gave me a tip that I've used with all sweaters I've knitted for children: knit the body and the sleeves 2 inches longer than the pattern calls for. You can always cuff the sleeves for a while, and long sweaters will fit the child for a couple of years as he/she grows. My 2 1/2 yr-old-granddaughter can still wear the sweater I knitted her when she was 1, and my 10-yr-old daughter can still wear the sweaters I knitted for her when she was 7.

Children grow longer before they grow rounder!

Sheri

Very nice sweater on a handsome lad!

mari
