Although I actually knit this hat in January, it's been getting a lot of wear lately, and I finally got a picture of it during a rainy walk in the park. I love wearing it - even on a wet day, I stay warm and dry, plus I feel all crunchy and happy with it on.
Particulars:
Pattern - Autumn
Yarn - Wool Ease Thick & Quick, 1 ball, Wood
Needles - US 11 & 13 Denise interchangeables
Notes - Although usually I balk at buying individual patterns, this one comes with an adult & a matching baby pattern, and you can knit one of each with one ball of Thick & Quick, which is pretty cool. I did knit Liam the matching baby hat, only to have it lost the very first time he wore it. Grrrr. Anyway, it was fast and easy and inexpensive - hmmmm, is anyone else noticing a trend lately?
lost the first time out? aarruuggh! I hate when that happens! my guy did it to mittens last winter. came home with one.
oh well, more reason to knit ;)
love the hat and the pic is so cute!

You look fabulous in that hat! Your little charges look particularly sweet too. Love spending that time with Mom!

It's great to have a hat that makes you feel happy :)
And why do scarves and hats and gloves get lost so easily? It happens to me too :)
